Population or model: 40 women enrolled; 39 completed.
Material tested: Finished GHK-Cu nanocarrier serum applied to the active side.
Comparator: Control serum lacking both the active and its lipid nanocarrier; a separate Matrixyl-containing comparison was also reported.

Endpoints

Three-dimensional optical measurement of one periocular wrinkle, including wrinkle volume.

Qualified findings

The active side showed about a 24% within-side reduction in wrinkle volume versus about 15% for control.

The widely repeated 55.8% figure is a relative between-treatment contrast, not the within-side wrinkle-volume change.

Limitations

The active and lipid carrier changed together, the full formula and concentration were not disclosed, the active was always assigned to the right side, and the study was small.
